Dear Vanessa - there is something new today that you may not know, which emerged in an interview this morning with Jose Andres, the 'Chef' behind the 'World Central Kitchen' which is sending 8 trucks worth of 'aid' to Gaza from Cyprus today. Listen to this interview, first at about 1.10 where he admits to being in Israel on October 7th, and later from about 6.00 where we discover that the WCK provided aid to Irpin, Bucha, Kherson and Chernihiv 'on the day they were liberated', and has provided 260 million meals to Ukrainians altogether.

https://www.abc.net.au/listen/programs/radionational-breakfast/gaza-aid-ship/103583598

What we conclude from this is that the US-EU-Israel are collaborating in setting up this 'charity' working with private investors and profiteers to hijack the aid supply to Gaza and push out the UN and its local suppliers - Egypt first, but also the UN funding which has obligations and ties. They have been plotting and planning this dirty scheme since at least the start of the year, and perhaps from the very beginning, with the WCK already well embedded in kitchens in Gaza using its own supplies on trucks from Cairo.

I also see that this development will be welcomed by people who know no better and say 'well at least it's something, and Israel is allowing it in.. and congratulating that creep Andres ( who was beginning to sound like 'Elensky in his delivery) like Patricia Karvelas does in the interview. Did you ever hear of him in Ukraine? Perhaps not, but be sure that supporters of Ukraine did, and our leaders did. I woke up with a start when I heard this today... showing the bond between Israel and Kiev and close cooperation with the EU etc on both fronts. People who support Gaza and still support Ukraine need to get their priorities worked out and realise how they were lied to! very best David

Hi David, yes to all except "pushing Egypt out" there is no need, Egypt was never in. I have reported on Egypt's long-term betrayal of the Palestinian cause. Why I mentioned the trojan horse is that Western "aid" is rarely anything else, designed to usurp and undermine any genuine civil society influences.. that does to some extent include UNRWA because employees are from Palestine and the majority do work for the benefit of their people. I have also talked at length in various interviews about the close ties between Zionism, Nazism, Israel and Ukraine. Thank you as always for your valuable insights. xx

Hi Vanessa, and thanks for responding and for your work. There are so many comparisons to be made between what is happening now in Palestine and what happened in Syria, as we remember all those calls for humanitarian aid to be allowed in, with weapons.. to Madaya or Aleppo or Douma, and the lies told about the SAA and Russia bombing schools and markets... Not to mention the whole IS Trojan horse that the US STILL uses to justify its occupation of Syria and violent attacks on Syria's protectors. But now we see the indisputable proof that Ukraine and Israel are parallel fronts in the war on the Resistance. The problem is getting all the supporters of Palestine here to see it, as they continue to wave the blue and yellow flag and mouth off against VVP. We mustn't lose heart in this war of civilisation - but sometimes now I do. Stay safe, as they say, and love to you and Syria. D

From If Americans Knew today:

Israel plans to displace Gazans to “humanitarian islands flooded with aid” – 159

Israel plans to displace Gazans to “humanitarian islands flooded with aid” – 159

About 2.2 million (out of total population of 2.3 million) are facing Crisis, Emergency, or Famine levels of food insecurity. (PHOTO)

Israel suddenly seems capable of moving massive quantities of aid – to Gazans being further displaced; American in Gaza pulled from rubble; Israel targets UN aid warehouse, killing 5; Wall Street Journal reports on Israeli torture of Palestinians; aid trucks rejected for having nail clippers, medical scissors; several Palestinians killed in West Bank; more

By IAK staff, from reports

RAFAH POPULATION TRANSFER – Middle East Eye reports: Daniel Hagari, spokesman for the Israeli army, said that there are plans to forcibly displace the more than one million Palestinians currently residing in Rafah, and push them into “humanitarian islands” in central Gaza.

The announcement comes as Israel continues to plan its offensive on Rafah, the southernmost city in Gaza.

“We need to make sure that 1.4 million people or at least a significant amount of the 1.4 million will move. Where? To humanitarian islands that we will create with the international community,” Hagari told reporters at a briefing.

Hagari also said that Israel plans to “flood the area” with aid, including housing, food, and water — US Secretary of State Antony Blinken used the same term “flooding with aid” during a press conference on Wednesday.

NOTE: Israel has so far been unwilling to “flood” Gaza with aid, although it is in desperate need. It has instead created an inspection regime that makes aid delivery extremely difficult – while Israeli officials allege that aid organizations are at fault for the famine for their failure to distribute aid efficiently.

NOTE: In 1948, Israel dispossessed 750,000 Palestinian people and exiled them permanently to Gaza and other locations in what Palestinians refer to as the Nakba (“catastrophe”). Many Palestinians see the current situation as another Nakba – already 75% of the population of Gaza has been internally displaced – and fear that they will never be allowed to return to their homes.

Forced transfer of a people group is a crime against humanity.

Great that you covered about Oracle, at least more people will be made aware of what's really going on, even if they're not so bothered about government information in Israels hands, it should concern many that all their NHS records are there. Though for readers and listeners of your work I'm sure both aspects will bother them.

Regarding US "aid", any kind of aid the Western governments promise has the kind of reaction of making a person laugh out loud while heartbreaking at the same time. Port building to help the people of Gaza, hah, of course we know they mean helping themselves. Disgusting behaviour as usual.

I have a couple of email friends in the US and they've both mentioned that the FBI are ramping up the rhetoric against Iran, saying their terror alert is the highest it's ever been because they know Iran is planning on assassinating some top US people in America! Luckily both friends are our kind of people and know what's really going on.

I saw a sad photograph yesterday of a open lorry load of blindfolded men, women and a few children being taken to an unknown destination. How the West can continue to support this beggars belief.

Thanks as always for the great work you do.

I was a kid in Beirut when the Sixth Fleet came in (and stayed until Reagan pulled them out for safety concerns). That was 1958, I think. That's when we were evacuated from the Civil War nobody talks acknowledges but I remember well, despite my age (pre-school). This is what this feels like. I read (or heard, maybe MacGregor who is very critical of all of this) last night that 1000 U.S. military will be involved and of course you cannot build "a pier" (WTF?) Nor do they have construction skills--they're taking anything that has a heart beat here--without stepping on Gazan soil (or sand or water). Didn't Aaron Bushnell say there were American soldiers in the tunnels? And then I think about USAID (who is doing NOTHING despite it being their mission to help in situations like this) going into Africa to destroy their agricultural system by giving away free rice and GMO seeds which require horrible chemicals for maximum production. I don't trust this and I don't think most Palestinians do either.

People who are paying attention in the U.S. know an Israeli company (whose founder was in the IOF and who strongly advocated the destruction of Iran then and now) is in charge of "security" of the entire healthcare system, but also basic infrastructure like electricity, telecommunications, water, sewage, nuclear weapons storage, bridges, dams, etc. Their "employees" are not vetted by the US government. And supposedly they're offering this service "for free". Most Americans still use the healthcare system. Increasing numbers do not. The truth is that preventative medicine is more effective than allopathic medicine. And you don't need an M.E. to practice it.

None of this is coincidental. I keep telling Americans that they need to p ush back against this genocide in Palestine because it's just a test case for the rest of us.

I am very leery of this--besides the fact that it will not help prevent death from starvation two months hence. I'm not sure which web-site--maybe If Americans Knew or Palestine Chronicle or EI--a farmer in Lebanon reported one of those food aid packages landed on his land. It was full of CAT FOOD and SHOES. I suppose you could eat cat food, though I wouldn't recommend it. Animal food in the U.S. is made, in part, from road kill and euthanized animals, including their flea collars. I don't think animal feed is that bad--although it depends what you're trying to make bread out. You at least need some wheat. It sounds they are getting only seeds which I would think would give you diarrhea--something you definitely do not want when dehydration is such a problem. They need personal water filters.

All the same, I'm amazed at Palestinian resourcefulness. On the bright side, it's spring and soon weeds will start popping up in the rubble. Another word for weed is "HERB". Most of them are medicinal as well as being a significant part of Middle Eastern cuisine.

Also I read an account--or maybe it was in Max Blumenthal's talk to the Women's Democratic whatever on the Democratic Party that just hit the Internet yesterday--that Netanyahu tried to talk Biden into creating a "pier" for "humanitarian aid" two weeks into this whole mess last October and Biden ignored him because he doesn't trust Netanyahu. Those natural gas and oil fields keep blinking and winking at me on the map.

Where are the UN peacekeeping forces? Do they no longer exist?

As for Americans waving those yellow and blue flags, remember most of them don't have a problem with Disney. But not everyone on this continent is stupid. However, COVID really ramped up the conformist aspect of American culture.

Actually, maybe this has been part of the plan all along. Bushnell did mention that he was on-call for "serving" in Palestine, presumably combat.

Sounds like we were both born around a similar time, I'm more than leery about it all, I've seen too many dirty tricks from US and UK like this before and don't trust them a centimeter let alone an inch. Hence wanting to break into maniacal laughter while shedding tears for Palestine.

The whole situation has gone past heartbreaking. My biggest problem is that whenever a major event happens in Palestine ( admittedly none this big in recent years) people go back to forgetting all about them. Over the years I've watched so many incidents happening there that never hit the news and most were never aware of.

I'm with you on the allopathic medicine angle and yes, many "weeds" can be used to cure a host of problems, I call weeds flowers that people don't want. A lot of good herbal remedies out there as well., different tinctures and stuff.

My heart is at it's heaviest for the people of Gaza but also the West Bank with it's daily raids, no matter what we imagine it's bound to be ten times worse at the least but like you think they are a remarkable people, there's not a big enough word to describe them really. Regarding the animal feed they're eating, I saw a clip a few days ago of someone asking a little Palestinian boy why he was going through the rubbish, of course looking for food, he said the animal feed made him sick and his tummy hurt when he ate it. Not good.

As for the UN, I trust them about as much as above countries mentioned, doing the job they were designed for in the beginning. It's all pacifying talk and no action, besides they're fully complicit in the Agenda 2030.

I think Vanessa is a good deal younger than me. Her dad was in the middle of things, in 1956 before she came along. 1956 was a very busy year all over the M.E. I didn't realize how much was going on then. I didn't learn about the form of government Lebanon was saddled with by the colonialists until I was 4--1958. I do remember all the shooting in the streets. It was spring. We were evacuated to Cyprus and then Switzerland to wait it out. From a kid's point of view, it was fun and super interesting.

This situation is different, like George Floyd. I understand your worry people will forget. It's hard to get the picture of a kid who has starved to death out of your head. A lot of people have cell phones with camera and audio capability and instant streaming. This is very new. And they cannot control it beyond shutting down telecommunications in the whole area. Audio and video still gets out. The Electronic Intifada shows video of a lot of the fighting, filmed by the resistance in Gaza. It's very interesting and their ingenuity is impressive.

If it makes you feel better, Scott Ritter (and others in the M.E. who don't have his visibility) thinks Israel is done for. He doesn't think the US military can win any war. They can't even stop Ansar Islam from their very low level badgering. A growing number of people think Israel has pretty much committed suicide. It's just a matter of time.

This does not help the people dying in Gaza. But Palestine IS going to be Palestinian. Soon enough. Just remember there are millions--I don't know how many millions--of Palestinians living outside of Palestine. They still visit relatives every year. They still have deeds and keys and know where their land is. And they will come back. And the Zionists will run back to their actual countries. The economy is falling apart. And so is ours. So they cannot count on US dollars much longer. Maybe Zionist billionaire aid but they'll stop giving when it looks too hopeless.

Ah you are a year older than myself.

Yes the Electronic Intifada put up some good content, as do a few others and you could be right about the Internet keeping it more in the public eye this time, let's hope so until things get sorted out in Palestine's favour.

It's more the streak of insanity running through Israel, the US and UK that's a worry, I agree the West would be hard put to win a war, I include Israel in the West by the way, it's more what could happen before that moment. Here's hoping Scott Ritter is right. And of course that Israel isn't trigger happy with it's nuclear buttons.

When Chernobyl blew the LA Times ran a map of all the spots and dates there had been atomic and nuclear tests, accidents throughout the world. I lay on the couch mourning for my son's life--he was then 4. Magic year! And realized that our family was near almost every single one from the Middle East to Europe, around the US, back through Europe (had to travel overland or by boat back then--very fun--I mean, SUPER fun) from 1958-59--our proximity was pure chance. Every five years we were required to come to the US for 9 months to "stay in touch with our culture". (Not MY culture!)

The truth is we are all exposed to radiation all the time. Every time you pass by a 5G antenna you are being zapped. So if you aren't near a site that is targeted, you already have experience dealing with excessive radiation poisoning. There's radiation coming down from the sky from these stupid geoengineering chemtrails. But really it's in a lot of buildings. And look at Chernobyl. It's an amazing place these days, apparently. Big cities are full of radiation already. Fools that we are. It's in a lot of these toys everyone just HAS to buy.

I hate that "Oppenheimer" won all these awards. That's like glorifying the military. Yuck.

That's all very true, I'd just prefer no one to be around the actual hit zone!

Chernobyl was blown up more than necessary, no pun intended, I mean they still kept the other 3 reactors working. The last one closed only a few years ago.

Japan's another good example, both in the past and more recent times. Fukushima is starting to thrive again and apart from being in line of the original hit, life's too short to be endlessly fretting about things like that.

You made me laugh with "to stay in touch with our culture", not my culture! I mean how crazy is that but at least you got to travel by a preferred mode and got some fun out of it. I love your enthusiasm for those memories of fun times.

The anti-Iranian meme in the US has recently switched to the tired old anti-China meme. Reinette Senum did a story that posited CHINA was responsible for the influx of migrants coming up into the southwest. As an Asian, my alarm bells went off, knowing the history of the Yellow Peril Scare in the 30's and what that resulted in for Asian-Americans of every ethnicity.

A story today that 15% of people donating to Bob Menendez' legal fund are supporters of the MEK. He is accused of taking money "in exchange for assisting foreign governments" per The Intercept. I have no idea who the MEK have become since the CIA got involved with their funding. Another "terrorist group" the CIA funds and uses, no doubt. Nothing like what they were in 1979. Then there is the bizarre appearance of the pro-Shah expats in the U.S. who are coming out as rabidly pro-Israeli. These are largely formerly (and probably still) very rich upper class (or nouveau riche) Iranians who lost their privileged position because of the Revolution. The situation is rapidly moving and very complicated. The latter group is pushing the Crown Prince--I think they still hope he can return. I remember when Yasser Arafat was invited to live in Iran--I think it was during the Shah, maybe 1973-74.

My point is that the propaganda is hard to read; it isn't consistent in the least.

Yes I think they keep doing the flip flopping between Iran and China to try and throw people off the right track, occasionally throwing North Korea in for good measure.

I saw about the alledged multitudes of Chinese flooding over the border, I just thought yep, show half a dozen people when asked saying they're from China and a lot of people will buy into it, a bit like a ton of people believed all the crazy videos supposedly coming out of China during the first year of Convid.

As you say, worrying.
