Dear Vanessa. I hope you have a peaceful Christmas and that you can share it with your friends. It’s a very traumatic time for you and others on the Middle East. Us who are informed - by wonderful journalists such as you and Jonathon Cook - feel a sense of loss and loneliness as we have knowledge that others don’t want to know. So we think of you are a special friend because you bring us the gift of knowledge. We all wish 2025 will start to move the resistance in a new direction. With love to you at this special time xx

I'd like to tag onto Judith and to Karen, below. It's so difficult and so necessary hearing your voice on the verge of tears, Vanessa. It makes it visceral how shocking this is, and how it turns everything upside down. You, who have been so calm in the midst of it all, even able to joke with those who also know the truth.

I was glad you reacted so strongly to Mike slipping in "Some people say Arabs are their own worst enemy." WFT? That's always a cheap trick, quoting 'some people', and I was disappointed in Mike that he used it. But also glad because it gave you the opportunity to make such excellent points. Mike has no idea how he would respond if he was on the front lines as a Syrian, getting barraged with false information. It's not like the Covid psyop.

And I concur with Karen that some commentators have shown their true colors, although I've found Scott Ritter too bombastic to follow. Just before this I listened to a Corbett Report from 10 yrs ago that he had reposted, on alien invasion psyops. He mentioned that he's always seen Russia and China playing good cop/ bad cop on the One World Government with the UK/ US/ Israel. I had hoped that wasn't true. But I think the tells you cite are irrefutable.

I have more confidence in your reporting on this than anyone else. Of course, because you're there. But also because you're a woman. I can't say exactly why that makes such a difference, but I feel it. Wishing you a peaceful heart on Christmas, Vanessa. Wishing that for you with all my heart.

Thank you so much Tereza. Mike and I go way back and he will often raise questions that he knows the answer to in order to give me the opportunity to push back. I am not sure if I believe in the homogeneous "one world government" theory either because it's also too reductionist and doesn't take into account cultural and historical differences that will always colour relationships. With Russia and China I see them as cold pragmatists with zero ideological Resistance aspirations. They will maneuver to the best position they can with little regard for the consequences for any ally that outlives it's use or that becomes an untenable burden. It should not be forgotten that both Russia and China have ties to Israel. Assad refusal to negotiate with Erdogan may have been an impasse too far for Russia and Turkey, another favoured partner of Russia, now facilitating the Russian move to Libya. The comparison to Covid was just to demonstrate that Westerners turned on each other even during a minor psyop while Arabs have endured centuries of double dealing, interference, black ops and destabilisation on an unprecedented scale. My best to you and your loved ones during this turbulent time 🙏

Thanks for taking the time to clarify, Vanessa. Gudrun also did below, and you'll read my reversal on why that was a helpful technique by Mike there.

I cited your article in my recent post, which has a spiritual focus: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/christmas-not-jesusmas. It was my example of why we are in dark days, that just got darker by Putin's betrayal, but why I think it does presage a coming of the light.

One reader, Daniel Nagase, linked to his article on forgiveness, and I brought up your mention of it for terrorists turned heroes (and another time Mike plays devil's advocate). I wrote, "The first step in forgiveness is taking away the power of the perpetrator to do further harm. Otherwise, forgiveness is a continuation of the harm, which hurts both victim and perpetrator. So out of kindness, that power over others has to be withdrawn." Forgiveness without taking away that power is enabling and complicit in the continuation of harm.

I've read before that Russia and China have ties to Israel but more details would be useful, if you've written about that in the past. This statement is beautifully succinct: "Westerners turned on each other even during a minor psyop while Arabs have endured centuries of double dealing, interference, black ops and destabilisation on an unprecedented scale."

Turbulent times, indeed. Thank you, Vanessa.

I wish to say something in Mike's defense. From my point of view it was quite important that he raised that question on his listener's behalf (I am sure that he knew the answer but he is focused on educating the public; he often uses this tactic). Vanessa's answer gave me a better understanding. Thank you Vanessa and Mike, your insights, connections and honesty is much appreciated.

Thanks for that clarification, Gudrun, which Vanessa paralleled. I think I mistook the 'heat' in Vanessa's response as due to Mike rather than the 'some people' he was quoting. Is he who I often see interviewing Vanessa on UK Column?

It makes much more sense that Mike was voicing a point that was important for Vanessa to refute. Even if her listeners would never think like that, it's something other people would say to them. And so having Vanessa's arguments at their fingertips, including the identification of that comment as racist, would be useful. There's no doubt that flippant and seemingly clever retorts like "Arabs are their own worst enemies" get seeded from thinktanks and put into the public consciousness. We need to be very deliberate in countering those. Thanks for your kind reply.

Judith, thank you. I can’t agree more with you. Those who assume the little that they know is a challenge to those with an in-depth study and experience such as Vanessa Beeley, who has compassion and integrity also, is a huge disruption to communicating the truth in a narrative driven reality created by purveyors of propaganda.

I appreciate you so much Vanessa, and am grateful for your willingness to share what you are piecing together as you are piecing it together. The events in Syria have really shaken those of us who are so committed to the resistance, but even harder than that (for me) has been the loss of so many commentators I followed consistently! I mean, who the f--- is Scott Ritter to be making the declarations he has been making? I'm not sure what is going on with Kevork! I know there is much going on below the surface. I put a lot of hope in Russia which is probably undeserved. Iran is more consistent and Turkey is consistently AWFUL. My one constant is: If Netanyahu is happy, I am unhappy. If Netanyahu is shaking in his boots, I am cheering at the top of my lungs!!

Hope you can enjoy the holidays with your life so up in the air!! Please write and speak more when you are able. You are one of the few people who has earned my trust and respect! Hang in there!!

I basically agree strongly with your emotional and intellectual responses here. Regarding Ritter, I generally looked at him as a "go to" person when it came to Russia but less so regarding Palestine, Israel, and East Asia.

Turkey is not "Islam" it is Muslim Brotherhood, terrorism in suits, created by the British as a tool of sectarian divisions and hatred. Same as Qatar.

Report | Syrian-Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Ghazi Martyred in Halab, Syria:

According to reports, terrorists knocked on the door of Mahmoud Ghazi’s home in Halab (Aleppo), Syria. When he opened the door, he was met with a hail of gunfire, leading to his immediate martyrdom.

Mahmoud Ghazi was a prominent leader of a Palestinian brigade in Hayyan, Halab, and his assassination is a tragic loss for the resistance movement. Terrorist Julani refused any help to Palestine, but he is also reportedly orchestrating the expulsion of Palestinian refugees from Syria. His plans extend to targeting Palestinian leaders and prominent figures, with assassinations aimed at further destabilizing the community and erasing its influence in the region.
