They have only managed to unite the Resistance more completely, more forcefully. Each outrage is an additional sign of how desperate they truly are. Hezbollah does not foolishly depend on one single leader, or even one generation of leaders. The moneyed who are behind all of this are frightened they will lose. Because they will. Truthfully, they already have.

He was not the only person in the Middle East who understands colonialism in their bones. Everyone who lives there does. Everyone can stand up a speak the words that give their fellow citizens belief in a successful jihad and hope for future generations.

The US is about to experience massive dock strikes. Hang onto your seats. They don't know it, most likely, but they are part of the Resistance too.

This is a beautiful tribute. Thank you Vanessa. I grieve with the world not only at this unfathomable loss but at the normalized barbarity which has isolated me so effectively I am barely aware that the world grieves with me. I know you write this for yourself, because you MUST, but please know how much it helps us out here in Zionist homes, in the Zionist Midwest, in the Zionist U S of A.

You are an antidote to the horrible corporate media gaslighting us in our grief and celebrating crimes against humanity and genocide at the top of their lungs.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Love and Solidarity,

An antizionist Jew on stolen Dakota land

We all belong to God and we all shall return to Him...

I can see why they revered Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah - he was such a calming and wise presence in the midst of unimaginable horrors and violence inflicted by genocidal Zionists upon the Palestinians, the Syrians, the Lebanese and other ordinary men, women and children resisting psychopathic tyranny across the wider Arab and Persian region.

May his soul rest in peace.

Marwa's response made me cry. It told me more about who Nasrallah was than reading volumes.

Fadi Lama replied to a comment of mine with this, which I thought you would appreciate:

"Just a note about here. For the last few days we have been in a state of shock. Yesterday, I was able to understand the feelings. I lost my father when I was 56. It was painful, coz he was my mentor. The loss of Sayyed Nasrallah to me and most here, was similar to losing a father, but not losing him at 56, rather losing a father when you are 8 years , when you still need and depend on him. Actually to me and most, it is more painful than when I lost my father.

"A guy on TV today said: "it would be easier if I had lost my son instead". Many mothers expressed similar feelings. People in the West may not comprehend this, but hundreds of thousands in Lebanon and millions elsewhere, would rather take a bullet in the head, than have Sayyed hurt. But this is life...... C'est la vie...."

Thankyou Vanessa for this tribute to the beloved Hassan Nasrallah, and thankyou to dear Marwa for showing her strength and vulnerability. Her shock at the news, which many still can't believe, echoes my own, after clutching at every hope that somehow this wasn't true. Since the start of the war on Syria and my knowledge of the leader of the Resistance I have worried that the hate-filled Zionists would kill him, so angered were they by his refusal to respond to their aggression.

But now we need him more than ever, including here in Australia where there are many Lebanese Australians consumed with grief as well as anger, and made worse by hearing ALL our leaders calling Sayed Hassan a "terrorist leader", and threatening to imprison or deport people who dare to show support for him, by waving the Hezbollah flag or even holding up a portrait photo. They who blithely killed 300 people using 85 tonnes of explosives dropped without warning, just to kill one man, and they who now celebrate his martyrdom and plan to repeat it on anyone who stands in the way of their wretched project. And Tahyaa Souria, as a Syrian friend says..

This is the worst news, but is this the best time to raise the question of WHY? Israel is able to target such leaders. Are there traitor in his entourage? Why isn’t he kept well out of sight, perhaps underground, but certainly securelybehind an effective security screen that does not announce his whereabouts. Yes, lsrael must be punished, and resolutely, but it is better to make certain that this does not happen.

He was deep underground but the US supplied the bombs capable of penetrating the underground headquarters. https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2024/09/29/734207/explainer-what-us-made-bunker-buster-bombs-israel-assassinate-nasrallah

Yes, l know. It is claimed Israel poured 80 1-ton block-buster bombs into where he was, taking out an entire city block, plus burrowing down to find him. My question is “How did they know he was there, even in the general vicinity, within block-buster bomb range. Surely Hezzbollah’s intelligence people can aspire, l’m afraid to say it, to the level of security displayed by the fanatical Zionists. Losing an entire level of leadership is just,to me, sloppy. Hamas seems to have a different approach. They communicate underground by runners on bicycles or motor bikes bearing notes. No leakage there. I’m sure Hezbollah needn’t have lost Nasrallah, the main inspiration. The loss of Hanniyah indicates that Iranian security is equally ‘leaky’. The fact that those killed by the ‘pager bombs’ in Beirut were civil servants of Hezbollah, and not its fighters, suggests that Hezbollah is getting something right!

May I also add a comment from Tony Kevin, after I forwarded your letter to him. (He is currently somewhere in the hills and glens of Scotland) :

I was so impressed with Vanessa’s obituary . What a shame Australian elites are so locked into the US imperium/Zionist view of the conflict. The history of the Crusades teaches us - such unwelcome occupiers always leave in the end. Zionist Israel will be destroyed as a apartheid state , whatever their technological Trickery and US imperium support . Best wishes Tony Kevin.

Welcome Vanessa, and we are with you wherever we are!

I'd just like to add a recollection which is appropriate - that when we were in Beirut waiting to go to Damascus in May 2018, we were delighted to meet Marwa in the city, and so impressed by her conviction and bravery and dignity. She offered to take us down to the border with occupied Palestine - undaunted by the risks!

But this day - it was May 9th, the day that Hezbollah was triumphant in the elections, and just as Damascus was clearing the last of the terrorists from the South of the city. Somehow we will see this through, but the victory of morality and honour is already ours.

Just finished watching an interview by Rania Khalek with Elijah Magnier, which I recommend for your mental health.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKX2Gul90_Y

The last week or so I've refused to read any Western or Israeli legacy media because they are ALL publications whose sole aim is to spread propaganda and outright lies in an attempt to demoralize and frighten those who do not support the American/British/Israeli attempt to maintain control of the oil fields and the entire Levant. If you read this garbage, you are actively participating in their effort to subvert the Resistance. You are actively collaborating with your own enemy. Don't do it. When you are depressed, demoralized, and fearful YOU CANNOT THINK FOR YOURSELF. As soon as this fight goes to the ground, things will look very different. The Israelis are SAYING it's over and they're going to take over Lebanon. They're even saying that since Lebanon contains biblical sites it is actually part of Israel as given to them by the God they do not believe in. Unreal. It is not. They couldn't take control of it 1000 years ago during the Crusades and they're not going to now. They can't even control Gaza. Don't worry about this crap. If they really believe the war is done, they are going to fail even worse than they were going to fail at the outset. There are hundreds of commanders waiting to take the place of those killed. The same is true in Gaza. Hezbollah is not a Western-style state military. Do not participate in these stupid freaks' attempts to destroy your spirit. Do not be impressed by their stupid bombs. The US has about a month left to let Israel do what it wants. After that Biden will still be in the White House but he will lose some of his power. And if Harris wins the election, it's going to be by the thinnest of margins. Plus we have a big strike about to happen in the US which is going to change their tune a lot. The population is pretty restive as it is; it's going to get pretty dicey even before the election. Don't let these propagandists COLONIZE your minds and your hearts! DO NOT COLLABORATE. God! I hate having to say this. Shut your mind to the Israeli/US/UK bullshit. DO NOT COLLABORATE. Just remember this is a fight by Big Money. They can bomb but they cannot win a ground war either in Gaza or in Lebanon or in Syria or in Iraq or in Iran or in Yemen. Are we fighting with money? We are not. Are we fighting FOR money? No. We're not. They've tried and failed in Gaza. Their very racism is what blinds them to reality and renders them too weak to succeed. Their racism is the best camouflage Middle Eastern countries have. Do not collaborate. These people are not in touch with reality. And their racist memes are false. Let them believe them. ENCOURAGE them to. But do not collaborate in the fight over your heart and mind.
