I keep thinkng about Russia's part in all of this and how puzzling it is considering what they have to lose with the pipeline. Do any of you think it's possible that they are in sync with the master "Greater Israel" plan? Looks like Trump will be pulling out of Ukraine...
Somebody was saying he thinks Putin and Assad sort of planned it, but without knowing they'd fold.
They thought many more Jihadists would have been killed during the coup.
Regardless, the field is now set dang near perfectly for a war between Israel and Turkey. Erdogan has said he wants the Dome of the Rock mosque. Israel can't even get Beirut under control. Turkey will tear their heads off.
Then Putin will be able to expand their hold plus wipe out the USA's 5000 soldiers.
Hopefully Trump will pull all the way out and focus on getting Afghanistan back.
Russia was acutely aware that the US & Turkey would likely invoke Article 5 if they came into conflict so had to tread carefully in Syria which may be why Russia didn't call Turkey's bluff on bringing in larger troop numbers into Syria despite Turkey, like its western partners, preferring to use proxies rather than its own troops.
