Another great conversation Vanessa though I have to admit to gritting my teeth and clutching my stomach through the Jeffrey Sachs bit, the (not so) great man whose plan Shock Therapy was used in Russia in the 1990's causing the death and untold misery of many Russian people, friend of the WEF and it's plans. Can't abide the scheming man.

What Netanyahu wants in Gaza and what he will actually get are completely different things, maybe Jeffrey should give him some advice and make doubly sure it goes hilariously wrong.

"C'mon Geoffrey, follow the money" Could you see the Russians intervening again in Syria if the rebel groups and Israel escalated again, and Hezbollah and Iran were not able to contain the situation?

The Russians have never stopped intervening in Syria :-). They are working against terrorist groups alongside Syrian Arab Army on a daily basis.

So they can step it up again quickly if need be, thanks. No doubt western governments and media would be caught flat-footed again like in 2015, as Tim Ripley mentions in the intro to his book(which you recommended) 'Russia's War in Syria'
