Nice article again Vanessa; sorry I cannot fund your work (for now); anyway, worked over in Syria - my last time was years back but I hold an affection for the Country and the people... I loved it. I have been following the conflict from day 1; if not before... and to be honest I have become frustrated, angry, fuming even; about the lack of a strong counter by the Syrians, Iranians and Russians... it does my effing head in... ANYWAY MY POINT... your statement below gives me hope... "The response will come but on the terms of the genuine anti-terror alliance, not on the terms set by Israel or the criminal U.S. Coalition." ... BUT LIKE A SMALL CHILD THAT DOES NOT GET HIS WAY - I WANT IT NOW.
"The drone came within 100 metres of the Su-34 - according to Brigadier General Oleg Gorinov, the head of the Russian Reconciliation Centre in Syria." That sounds like the Su-34 was stationary at the time. They can actually do tail-stands in flight, but I sincerely doubt it was doing that when the drone approached it!
"Kennedy Straddles the Divide" is still the correct assessment for now, if you know anything about USA politics. Kennedy has jumped into the belly of the beast. Let him fight the battle the way he needs to do it. His history shows that in the long run he isn't for either side warring on the other and if he does become president he would then have the power to do something about that. He doesn't now.
