The SDF is a multiethnic coalition of dozens of militias, including women's, resisting ISIS and Turkish invasions in Syria and have resisted being used as direct proxies of US occupiers, except in fighting ISIS. That the US at the same time is, in your opinion, promoting ISIS in the Homs desert is not surprising.
