This illustrates an observation of the United States government we have come to more fully appreciate over the past few years. It is and has always been a hierarchical structure which demeans the supposed unalienable rights it acknowledges even it cannot confer - the creator conferred individual right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When we allow an entity to demean human beings in our name we also give that entity the right to demean all of us. These wars of conquest have always been an abomination and have always been leading exactly where we now are. Understanding freedom is something entirely different than what we see here. We reap what we sow.
Please list some humanitarian agencies that do good work in government areas of Syria; we’ ve sent money to MSF, DoctorsWithout Borders in Canada as I believe they operate everywhere. I’m ashamed that Canadian government also is not helping Syria, is in lockstep with USA, EU. ( Our connection to Syria goes back to our first visit in 1981, subsequent visits over the years.) The failed institutions, the failed science of limited modelling in the dumbed down specialties of higher education is glaringly obvious. Caught Polish TV on Sling today. It talks about how Poland is now helping Syria. Implying they don’t want to help Turkey, one could suppose. But whether it’s Syria meaning the territory held by the jihadist gangs or Syria per se, is not mentioned.
