Welcome to Resistance TV, where we bring you the latest news and discussions on global events. In this edition, we'll be focusing on the recent earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, and the differing responses from the west towards these two countries.
While aid poured into Turkey, Syria was largely disregarded, and the west's sanctions against the country remained in place. To help shed light on this issue, we have the pleasure of having Vanessa Beeley, a fearless investigative journalist, and expert on Syria. Her exceptional work has gained recognition from respected figures such as the legendary John Pilger, and she was a finalist for the prestigious Martha Gellhorn Prize for journalism.
With her on-the-ground experience in Aleppo, Vanessa is well-equipped to provide insightful analysis on the situation in Syria, in this pre recorded show tonight So sit back, relax, and get ready for an informative and engaging discussion on the events that have taken place in Turkey and Syria, and the impact of the west's response.
Great work yet again VB thankyou!
Let’s open our hearts and wallets to help the poor Syrian people. Sasha has provided links where we can give a little bit or a lot. God rewards people that help others in need by paying back many fold.
Syrians have suffered enough under the US, UK and EU terrorist operations (war and sanctions). Yes we terrorized the people because they didn’t want regime change, in other words a western led coup. The US is stealing Syrian oil and gas, resources that should be going to the average people. The west is actively supporting Al qaeda, a known terrorist group, actively fighting and targeting Syrians on a constant basis.
We also need to put pressure on our governments to end the crippling sanctions that punish the old, the women and the children. Why? Are we a heartless society now? We are led by demons.
