I have also been disappointed in Putin and his favoritism of Israel. However they did come in 2o15 along side Iran and Hezbollah to save the Assad regime. Then they got involved in a kinetic war in Ukraine and seemed to lose interest. They made an agreement with Turkey but didn't make Turkey hold to their committments. Then a relatively small group of jihadists with CIA help were able to take over the country with no Russian interference. . The Kremlin even welcomed the head of radical jihad in Moscow. Putin is not a dictator and there are other attitudes in Moscow, The Russian military would like to return the favor of US satellite intelligence to Ukraine by giving Russian satellite intelligence to Iran. Either China or Russia must be giving satellite intelligence to iran proven by their precise targeting of US radars and airplanes especially. Both Russia and China would officially deny helping Iran militarily. Proof is above my pay grade. It is in both China and Russia's interests for Iran to keep being a independent sovereign state.
Letting Hamas do Oct 7 was an Israeli psyops in order to do their genocide is my opinion. To think that israel doesn't have Palestinian covert informants is silly. The world was able to make apartheid South Africa have a peaceable regime change.
